Welcome to Immunology at the University of Illinois!

Immunology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is a gathering place for faculty, scientists and students working in basic, translational and clinical immunologists as well as host-pathogen interactions who are devoted to advancing our understanding of the immune system and how we can harness it to benefit human and animal health.  We aim to push the boundaries of immunology and its applications but also to train the next generation of immunologists. Our research in Immunology covers a wide range of foci including Infectious Disease Immunology, Tumor Immunology, Neuro Immunology, and Basic Immunology and includes investigators spread across multiple colleges, departments and graduate training programs across UIUC.
